Local Life Centres are being located in all ten of the Townships across the borough to make it easier for residents to contact the Council and its Partners to help get the services they need.
Closely linked to the Wigan Life Centre (external link)and co-located within a range of accessible venues, Life Centres will deliver services based on customer needs.
Local Life Centres (external link) will:
- Make it easier for customers to get in touch by face to face contact.
- Answer all enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Develop a joined up approach to public service delivery by working with a range of local partners.
- Provide suitable meeting spaces from where local groups can meet up
